M4 Hex Lock Nut, 304 Stainless Steel - XLNA2M4

Made in 304 (A2) stainless steel, the Metric Hex Lock Nut is a hex lock nut. A lock nut is designed to resist loosening under vibration better than a plain hex nut.

The A2 (304) stainless material suits indoor, fresh water and typical outdoor use. Where the fastening is exposed to salt air, pool chemicals or marine conditions, A4 (316) is the grade to use instead. Metric sizes are written M followed by the nominal thread diameter in millimetres, so M10 is a 10 mm thread.
