Olfa UTC-1 Five-Position Utility Knife

The Olfa UTC-1 is a utility knife with a five-position auto-lock retractable blade, a fibreglass-reinforced handle and a wraparound rubber grip (manufacturer-stated).

It uses a dual-edge safety blade rather than a snap-off blade: it comes preloaded with an SKB dual-edge safety blade, and flipping the blade makes the knife suitable for both right- and left-handed users. Olfa says the design stops the blade rattling during cutting and that blade changes need no tools (manufacturer-stated).

Olfa states the body is solvent resistant and can be cleaned with acetone or other chemicals to remove paint or other solvent-based materials (manufacturer-stated). Olfa lists the SKB-2 dual-edge safety, HOB-2 hook and RSKB-2 round tip blades as replacements.
