Pferd WRC burr, 6 x 16mm

The Pferd WRC Cylindrical Radius End Burr is a tungsten carbide burr in ALLROUND cut with a 6mm shank. The range has 3 options, with head sizes of 6 x 16 to 12 x 25mm (diameter x cut length) and total lengths of 55 to 65mm.

The WRC is a cylindrical burr with radius end to DIN 8032 for versatile, economical and time-saving use on steel and cast steel, stainless steel (INOX), non-ferrous metals and cast iron. The ALLROUND cut gives a high stock removal rate on key materials such as steel, cast steel, stainless steel (INOX), non-ferrous metals and cast iron. It is similar to the 3 PLUS cut but with a significantly higher stock removal rate. Key features: 30% higher stock removal rate on steel than conventional cross-cut burrs, comfortable working thanks to reduced vibration and less noise, reduced wear on the tool drive from impact-free work without chatter marks, thanks to the high concentricity.

Choosing the right option

Check that your tool holds a 6mm shank. It has the INOX cut for stainless steel (INOX) and the ALU cut for aluminium. Do not exceed the maximum permitted rotational speed, wear eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask, and do not use a damaged burr.
