The Safra 5356 Premium Aluminium MIG Wire is a precision layer wound, double diamond shaved wire for MIG welding a range of aluminium alloys. It is classified AWS A5.10 ER5356 (manufacturer-stated).

It feeds smoothly with good arc control and suits general aluminium fabrication and repairs, bullbars and rollbars, and boat building. It comes in 1 and 1.2 mm on 0.5 kg and 2 kg spools, which suit smaller jobs and spool guns.

Selecting the right option

Choose the diameter to suit the material thickness and your wire feed system, and the spool weight to suit how much you weld. Aluminium wire is soft, so feed it through a spool gun or push-pull gun for the best results.
