M70 Variable Swivel Eye Snap Shackle, 316 Stainless Steel - SSVA4M70
Available
Made in 316 (A4) stainless steel, the Snap Shackle Variable Swivel Eye is a quick-release shackle with a spring-loaded pin and a swivel eye, which turns so the line does not twist.
A4 (316) stainless steel contains molybdenum (about 2 to 3 per cent), which improves its resistance to chlorides. It is the grade normally chosen for coastal, pool, marine and food-processing settings, and it costs more than A2 (304).
This listing has 3 variants covering sizes M70 to M135. Variants are supplied in packs of 2 to 5, depending on size.
Use stainless washers and nuts with stainless fasteners, so the whole joint is made of the same material.
