Stahlwille SW44K 3 mm INHEX Socket, 1/4" Drive, 28 mm Long

The Stahlwille 44K is a short metric INHEX socket range for 1/4" drive: 5 hex sizes (3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm), each 28 mm long, for hexagon socket head screws. The datasheets print DIN 7422 (manufacturer-stated).

Stahlwille lists the 44K as the short (kurze) version, so it is the one to reach for where there is little clearance above the screw. The sockets are Chrome Alloy Steel, chrome-plated. The square drive is internal, so the socket fits a 1/4" drive ratchet, handle or extension. The datasheets print no torque rating and no striking or extension instruction; they are for hand use.

Selecting the right option

Pick the hex size by the hexagon socket in the screw head. For inch hex sizes on a 1/4" drive see the Stahlwille 44a INHEX sockets.
