The Sutton C106 is a 90° three flute countersink in HSS, TiN coated. It is a countersinking tool for machine use, on most materials including plastics, non-ferrous and ferrous metals. This range has 5 sizes covering 4-10, 4-14, 5-20, 6-28 and 6-37 mm.
The TiN (titanium nitride) coating is designed to reduce friction and extend tool life. Shank sizes are 6.35 mm (1/4 in) and 12.7 mm (1/2 in).

Using the tool
- Match the countersink to the screw head so the head sits flush with the surface.
- Use a low to moderate speed, and go lower on harder materials and larger diameters.
- Use cutting fluid when working steel or stainless steel.
- Hold the work firmly and keep the tool steady to reduce chatter.
