The Sutton H117 is a heavy duty tungsten carbide tooth (TCT) holesaw with a 25 mm cutting depth. The range has 9 sizes from 16 to 50 mm, each with its arbor, plus a replacement PDT2 pilot drill. It is designed to cut steel, stainless steel, ferrous metals, aluminium, plastics and fibreglass.
Precision ground teeth are designed to give a smooth, high-capacity cut, and to last up to 10 times longer than standard bi-metal holesaws. The ejector spring ejects the core automatically, the safety stopper is designed to prevent breakthrough and protect the work surface, and the 3-flat shank grips positively in the chuck. It runs in hand-held and stationary drilling machines.

Using the holesaw
- Use in hand-held or stationary drilling machines. The 3-flat shank grips positively in the chuck.
- Set the drill to the recommended speed for the material (see the table) and keep the teeth sharp.
- Use cutting fluid when cutting steel and stainless steel, and let the teeth cut rather than forcing the saw.
- The ejector spring pushes the core out automatically, and the safety stopper is designed to prevent breakthrough.
