IKO WS1226 Thrust Bearing Inner Ring, 12 x 26 x 2.75 mm

The WS is a thin inner ring for IKO thrust bearings: the raceway ring that sits on the shaft side. It is a ring only, not a complete bearing, with no rollers or cage and no load rating of its own. This page lists 13 WS sizes for shafts from 12 to 80 mm, with outside diameters of 26 to 115 mm and a ring thickness of 2.75 to 8.5 mm.

The WS is used with the NTB thrust needle roller bearing (where an NTB of that size exists) and with the AZK thrust roller bearing of the same size, and an AZ complete bearing is an AZK combined with a WS and a GS. Choose the shaft size and ring thickness from the drop-downs; the Model Details give the exact dimensions and the bearing each size is used with.

Available sizes

Mass is a reference value for one ring: the WS and GS rings of a size have the same dimensions and the same mass. "Used with" shows the bearings of the same size; a size shown with an AZK only has no NTB of that size.

Selecting the right option

Choose the shaft diameter and then the ring thickness from the drop-downs. Where two sizes share a shaft diameter, the thickness tells them apart: for example a 30 mm shaft with a 3 mm thickness is WS3047 (47 mm O.D.) and with a 4.25 mm thickness is WS3052 (52 mm O.D.).

The model number is the bore diameter followed by the outside diameter, so WS3047 has a 30 mm bore and a 47 mm outside diameter.

The WS is a ring only. Use the GS outer ring of the same size with it, together with an NTB or AZK bearing: the Model Details list the bearings each size is used with. A WS size shown with an AZK only has no NTB of that size.

Fitting and use

The recommended shaft tolerance class for the WS is h6. Finish the mounting surface at right angles to the centre axis and keep it sufficiently rigid.
