Toho Chain Block Stainless Steel 1Tonne (1,000kg) x 3m Lift

The Toho stainless steel chain block is a manual (hand chain) hoist for lifting in washdown, food, medical and other environments where corrosion resistance matters. It is built in 1 and 2 tonne capacities with a 3 m or 6 m lift, with 7 x 21 mm chain, and is treated with a special anti-corrosion technology.

The manufacturer states a salt spray test result of over 1000 hours and a service life 25 times longer than a regular chain block. It is also stated to comply with AS/NZS 1418.2, and a test certificate and instruction manual are supplied with every chain block.

Selecting the right option

Choose the capacity first, then the lift that covers your lift height; the 6 m models are heavier. The 1 tonne blocks use a single chain and the 2 tonne blocks use two. Lifting equipment must be used within its marked working load limit (WLL), inspected before each use, and selected and used in line with your site lifting procedure and the relevant Australian Standards.
