Wiha 145mm Precision ESD Chip Lifter
Out of stock
The Wiha 145 mm Precision ESD Chip Lifter is purpose-built for safely repositioning and lifting bare ICs, chip packages, and surface-mount components on PCBs without discharging static to electrostatic-sensitive devices. ESD-safe to IEC 61340-5-1 (10⁶–10⁹ Ω). The fine-tapered tip fits under chip edges without board or pad damage.
Where this tool is used
- PCB rework and BGA reballing — lifting and repositioning IC packages during hot-air rework without ESD risk to sensitive components.
- Electronics manufacturing and inspection — manipulating bare dies and SMD components under microscope without contamination or static discharge.
- Field service in electronics repair — removing and seating socketed chips and fine-pitch connectors in consumer electronics and instruments.

Why Wiha?
Wiha has manufactured precision hand tools in Schonach, Germany since 1939. Every tool is produced in-house — steel selection, forging, heat treatment, tip grinding, and handle moulding — under one roof. That vertical integration is why Wiha can guarantee precise geometry, consistent hardness, and handle-to-blade balance that you can feel after a full shift. AIMS Industrial is your Australian source for the full Wiha range, with same-day despatch from Sydney and expert advice on tool selection for your application.
