Choosing an electric valve actuator
Start with the torque your valve needs, then choose a model with the Nm rating to suit: 35, 50, 90, 150 or 400 Nm. Then pick the supply voltage, which is a selector on most listings. The OM-A-M is the model listed with a manual override. These are for valve automation, so check the mounting against your ball valve or butterfly valve before you order. What actuators do you list?
Six AAP electric valve actuators: the OM-1, OM-2, OM-3 and OM-4 range from 35 to 400 Nm, plus the OM-A (50 Nm, 24 V DC) and the OM-A-M (50 Nm with manual override).
How do I choose the supply voltage?
Most listings have a voltage selector, for example 12 V DC, 24 V AC or DC, 110 V and 240 V. The OM-A is a single 24 V DC unit. Pick the voltage that matches your supply.
Which actuator suits my valve?
