Choosing AAP pipe fittings and valves
Start with the connection: threaded (NPT or BSP), socket weld, butt weld, flanged, roll groove or camlock. Then match the size, the material (black or galvanised steel, malleable iron, brass, bronze, stainless steel, aluminium, PVC or polypropylene) and, for flanges and flanged valves, the table or class shown in the title. Most listings carry a size selector, so check the variants for the one you need. For valves, choose the type for the job: ball valves for on and off, gate and butterfly valves to isolate a line, check and foot valves to stop reverse flow, and strainers to protect equipment. What does the AAP range include?

How do I find the right size?
Most listings have a size selector, often in inches. Pick the pipe size in the options, and check the thread (NPT or BSP) or the flange table or class in the title.
What is the difference between NPT and BSP threads?
They are different thread forms and are not interchangeable. Titles show NPT or BSP and BSPT, so check the thread on your pipe or equipment before you order, and call us if you are not sure.
Do you have stainless steel and plastic options?
Yes. The range includes stainless steel fittings, flanges and valves, along with PVC, UPVC and polypropylene items. Check each listing for the material.
