Always read the label and safety data sheet before use, wear gloves and eye protection, and work in a ventilated area. Don't use chlorinated solvent products near welding, open flame or hot surfaces, as they can break down into toxic gases. Check the data sheet to see whether a product is chlorinated.
Choosing a Product
Brake and parts cleaners
CRC Brakleen is the main range here, with heavy duty, Force, non-chlorinated and water-based versions, alongside Loctite, WD-40 and Inox options. Intake, throttle and fuel system
The CRC Clean-R-Carb, throttle body, intake valve and MAF products clean the intake and fuel path. Use the sensor-specific cleaner on air flow sensors and follow the can's directions for each product.
Diesel, oil and additives
Morey's Diesel Smoke Killer, Upper Cylinder Lubricant and Injector Cleaner and Oil Stabilizer are workshop and fleet additives, available in small packs and 20 L. CRC Aerostart for Diesel is a starting aid. Check each label for dosing and use.
Battery, electrical and repair

Why shouldn't I use chlorinated brake cleaner near welding?
Chlorinated solvents can break down into toxic gases when exposed to the heat or ultraviolet light of a welding arc, flame or hot surfaces. Use a non-chlorinated product wherever welding is happening, and check the data sheet to see which type you have.
