Choosing a danger sign

Match the wording to the hazard first, then choose the material for where the sign will live. Listings across the range include self-adhesive vinyl, polypropylene and metal, with reflective and luminous options. Metal and reflective signs are the usual choice outdoors, while vinyl suits flat indoor surfaces such as doors and tanks. Check the size options on each listing against how far away people will read the sign.

Where the hazard is less severe, a warning sign may be the better fit. To tell people what they must wear or do, see mandatory and PPE signs.

Always check the data sheet. Confirm size, material and wording suit your site, and check any requirements that apply to your workplace, before you order.
