Choosing an oil
Start with the equipment and what the manufacturer specifies: the type of oil, then the viscosity grade. The ISO grades are in the titles or the variant names, so match the grade to the manual. The Rocol Foodlube oils and the Excision XDP705 are listed as food grade, but the titles do not give the approval or registration, so check the data sheet before using one around food. Pack sizes run from 250ml to 205 L. Always check the data sheet. It is the source for viscosity, approvals and compatibility.
