Svenic makes sealant applicator guns, and AIMS Industrial supplies the range we carry: manual cartridge and barrel guns, a tuck pointing mortar applicator, and air-operated guns for cartridges and sachets. A trade-grade gun gives a steadier bead and takes less effort on thick sealants than a light-duty gun, which is the difference you notice over a full day of dispensing.

Choosing a Svenic applicator
Start with the pack your sealant comes in, because the gun has to match it. Cartridge guns take the 215 mm cartridges that most sealants come in, barrel guns take the longer 320 mm and 370 mm packs, and sachet guns take foil sachets. Then decide between manual and air-operated. Manual guns suit most jobs, and the heavy duty frame suits thicker products. Air-operated guns need a compressed air supply, and they take the effort out of dispensing when you are working through a lot of product.
The tuck pointing applicator is a different tool: it pushes mortar into joints rather than dispensing sealant, so it is for repointing brickwork and masonry rather than sealing.
Always check the data sheet. Confirm the pack size and format of your sealant against the gun before ordering, and check the compressed air requirements for the air-operated models.

Svenic FAQs
Which gun do I need for a 310 mL cartridge?
A 215 mm cartridge gun. We list the Pro SV616TLV, the heavy duty frame SV620TLV and an air-operated SV712SAE for 215 mm cartridges.
What is the difference between the Pro and heavy duty frame guns?
Both take 215 mm cartridges. The heavy duty frame model has a reinforced frame and is aimed at harder daily use and thicker products. Check the data sheet for the specifications.
Cartridge, barrel or sachet: how do I choose?
Match the gun to your sealant pack. Cartridge guns take 215 mm cartridges, barrel guns take longer 320 mm and 370 mm packs, and the air-operated sachet gun takes 370 mm foil sachets.
Do the air-operated guns need compressed air?
Yes. The air-operated cartridge and sachet guns run from a compressed air supply, so you need a compressor and hose. Check the data sheet for the air requirements.
What is the tuck pointing applicator for?
It pushes mortar into joints for repointing brickwork and masonry. It is not a sealant gun.
