A branch outlet is an integrally reinforced forged fitting that is welded onto a header pipe to make a branch connection. AAP lists it to MSS SP-97-2012. The size is shown as two sizes, smaller first. AAP does not say which is the outlet and which is the header pipe, so confirm this with AIMS before you order. The outlet end is a butt weld, listed by AAP as X-Stg. A and F are the dimensions lettered on the AAP drawing; AAP's table does not name them.
