This AAP stainless steel buttweld concentric reducer is grade 316/316L stainless steel, Schedule 10S. It is supplied in 10 sizes, 1 x 1/2 in (25 x 15 mm) to 8 x 6 in (200 x 150 mm).
A concentric reducer steps a pipe run from one size down to a smaller size, with both ends on the same centreline. Sizes are listed as the larger size first, then the smaller.
AAP supplies its stainless steel butt weld fittings made from welded stainless steel pipe, which is made from 2B or HRAP stainless steel strip formed to shape and longitudinally welded. AAP lists high tensile strength, a robust build and rust free properties as the advantages of these fittings, and says they are most commonly used in refinery complexes, chemical production and petrochemical engineering (manufacturer-stated).

Dimensions are in millimetres, as lettered on the AAP drawing: A1 and A2 are the outside and inside diameters of the larger end, B1 and B2 of the smaller end, and C is the overall length. Wall thickness is from the ASTM A312M table AAP lists for Sch 10S. AAP lists the 8 x 6 in smaller end outside and inside diameters the wrong way round (inside larger than outside); they are shown the right way round here.
Selecting the right option
Match the schedule and wall thickness to the pipe you are welding to. AAP does not publish a pressure rating for the fittings themselves.
