This AAP galvanised loose flanged reducing elbow has a Table D flange on each end and turns a line through 90 degrees while reducing from one size to another. It is supplied in 15 size combinations from 3 x 1-1/2 in (80 x 40 mm) to 8 x 6 in (200 x 150 mm).
The flanges are loose (not fixed to the elbow), so the flange can be turned to line up the bolt holes with the mating flange. A is the bore of the large end and D is the bore of the small end, which work out from the wall thickness of the pipe size. B and C are the lengths shown in the AAP catalogue drawing.
AAP notes that larger sizes are available on request.

Selecting the right option
Order by the large and small end sizes, for example 4 x 3 in. AAP lists larger sizes as available on request, so contact AIMS if the combination you need is not shown. Check the flange table on your mating flanges is Table D. AAP can add priming sockets to these fittings. Add -PS and the socket size to the part number (AAP lists socket sizes from 1 in to 3 in). Priming sockets on some fittings may carry an extra charge and not every product is ex-stock, so confirm the details with AIMS before ordering. AAP also offers a fabrication service for custom-made fittings, and other flange tables are available on enquiry, so contact AIMS if you need something that is not listed.
