This AAP galvanised eccentric flanged reducer has a Table D flange on each end and steps a line from one size to another. It is supplied in 19 size combinations from 2 x 1-1/2 in (50 x 40 mm) to 12 x 10 in (300 x 250 mm).
In an eccentric reducer the two ends are offset rather than sharing a centreline, which keeps one side of the pipe straight. It is the usual choice where trapped air or settled solids have to be avoided, such as on pump suction lines.
AAP lists it as a standard weight (STD) fitting in its galvanised flanged irrigation range, with a wall thickness of 5.5 mm (3 in) to 9.5 mm (12 in) (AAP tabulates wall thickness for 3 in and above). Dimensions A and B work out to the internal bore of the fitting for the stated wall thickness (for example 77.9 mm on a 3 in STD end). C is the overall length.

Selecting the right option
Order by the large and small end sizes, for example 2 x 1-1/2 in (50 x 40 mm). Check the flange table on your mating flanges is Table D, because AAP lists other flange tables as available on enquiry only. AAP can add priming sockets to these fittings. Add -PS and the socket size to the part number (AAP lists socket sizes from 1 in to 3 in). Priming sockets on some fittings may carry an extra charge and not every product is ex-stock, so confirm the details with AIMS before ordering. AAP also offers a fabrication service for custom-made fittings, and other flange tables are available on enquiry, so contact AIMS if you need something that is not listed.
