An equal tee has three grooved ports of the same size, so a pipe run can branch in one direction. Each port is grooved to take a roll groove coupling. A is the centre to end dimension, as lettered on the AAP drawing.
AAP states that its roll groove fittings are made in ductile iron to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 (manufacturer-stated). AAP lists this version as painted and does not state the paint type or colour. AAP states that roll groove suits standard pipe with cut grooves, or standard and light wall pipe with rolled grooves (manufacturer-stated). AAP states a working pressure of 2500 kPa and a maximum working temperature of 100 °C for this product (manufacturer-stated). Working pressures may also be limited by pressure piping codes or industry regulations, so confirm the pressure and temperature for your application with AIMS before you order.

A is the centre to end dimension, as lettered on the AAP drawing, in millimetres. The 10 in centre to end figure is not shown: AAP lists 229 mm for the 10 in elbow and 215 mm for the 10 in tee, although the two match at every other size, and AIMS is confirming it with AAP. Weights are approximate, in kilograms per piece. A dash means no figure is shown for that size: AAP does not state it, or AIMS is checking it with AAP.
Selecting the right option
Choose the size to match your pipe. AAP lists the pipe outside diameter for each size in its roll groove specification, so check your pipe has that outside diameter and is grooved to AAP's groove dimensions. Each grooved joint also needs a roll groove coupling, which is listed separately.
