This AAP stainless steel quick release foot valve has a swing flap and a Table D flange. It is supplied in 7 sizes from 3 in (80 mm) to 12 in (300 mm).
A foot valve fits at the bottom of a pump suction line. The swing flap closes to hold the water in the line when the pump stops, and the mesh keeps debris out of the pump. AAP lists the mesh hole size as 11 mm on every size.
AAP does not state the grade of stainless steel, so confirm it with AIMS if the grade matters for your duty. AAP lists a replacement spring to suit the foot valve under part number VFGSPR; contact AIMS to check availability.

Selecting the right option
Order by the pump suction line size. Dimension A is the overall length and B is the outside diameter, so check there is room in the sump, bore or tank for the diameter B shown in the table. Check the flange table on your pipe flange is Table D, because AAP lists other flange tables as available on enquiry only. AAP also offers a fabrication service for custom-made fittings, and other flange tables are available on enquiry, so contact AIMS if you need something that is not listed.
