The BECO stainless steel miniature shielded deep groove ball bearing covers small-bore sizes where a chrome steel bearing would corrode. It is made from hardened stainless steel for the rotating parts, with an AISI 304 cage and stainless steel ZZ shields on both sides, on standard miniature boundary dimensions with standard radial internal clearance. This range has 3 sizes with bores from 6 to 8 mm.
It is lubricated for life with a grease BECO lists as suitable for the food industry under NSF H1, and is rated for -20°C to +100°C. BECO describes the tempered stainless construction as suited to mildly aggressive applications and does not recommend it where acids, salts or sea water are present. Fitting and use
The bearing is lubricated for life and needs no additional lubrication.
Press the ring that has the interference fit onto its seat, and never push through the balls or the other ring.
Do not use the bearing with acids, salts or sea water present without checking with AIMS Industrial first.
