Brady M511 Portable Bluetooth Label Printer, Thermal Transfer, 38.1 mm Max Label Width

The Brady M511 is a portable Bluetooth thermal transfer label printer. It prints labels up to 38.1 mm wide from Brady M4-, M4C-, M5- and M5C- series cartridges, which hold the label material and ribbon together (manufacturer-stated). You design and print from the Brady Express Labels app on a phone or tablet, or from Brady Workstation on a PC.

Brady quotes 300 dpi single colour printing, a maximum print width of 36.58 mm, a print speed of 33.8 mm/s, an auto cutter and edge-to-edge printing so less label is wasted. It states the internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery gives 8+ hours of work or 1,000 labels per charge, and that the printer resists 1.8 m drops, 113 kg crushes, sand and dust (manufacturer-stated).

Brady's own pages give different battery capacities in mAh, so we do not quote one. Brady's Australian page lists the plug type as AU on a 110 to 240 V supply. Ask us what is supplied in the Australian kit, including the starter cartridge, and the warranty terms that apply here. Brady's pages list this part as containing an SVHC under REACH, so ask us for the substance information if you need it (manufacturer-stated).

The Product Code is Brady's part number, M511, and the Brady ordering number is 880964. Both are in the table below. We also stock the Brady i3300 industrial label printer, the universal rolling case for S3100 and i3300 and the M4 and M5 cartridges that fit this printer.

Key specifications

Selecting the right option

The M511 prints labels up to 38.1 mm wide from M4 and M5 series cartridges. If you need wider labels or a larger print area see the Brady i3300 industrial label printer. Check the label cartridge you want is in the M4, M4C, M5 or M5C series before you order. Brady's product pages are written for the US market, so standards or approvals they list may be North American. Ask us if an approval matters for your job.
