ClayTech CLA CMS C6A1 Divertron C6 Pressure Pump with 1 inch AcquaSaver Valve

The ClayTech CMS C6A is a Divertron C6 in-tank submersible pressure pump supplied with an AcquaSaver rainwater-to-mains diversion valve, as the C6A1 (1 inch valve) or the C6A2 (3/4 inch valve). The pump is rated at 650 W (P2) with a 36 m maximum head and 95 L/min maximum flow (manufacturer-stated).

The system uses rainwater when it is available, automatically uses mains water when there is no rainwater, and automatically returns to rainwater when it rains. The C6A2 data sheet describes it for an average two-storey home with 2 bathrooms plus garden watering (manufacturer-stated).

The Divertron has an integrated electronic pump controller with automatic on/off and dry-run protection, an integrated check valve, an intake filter and a handle, and an installation rope is included. It is rated IP68 with a 15 m H07RN-F cable (manufacturer-stated). The AcquaSaver is a hydraulically operated, solid brass water diversion valve with built-in dual check valves. It prioritises rainwater, switches to mains water if the tank runs low or the power fails, and switches back when rainwater is replenished or power is restored (manufacturer-stated). It has no electrical consumption or electronic components, needs no regular maintenance and can be mounted in any position (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

Choose the AcquaSaver size to match your pipework: 1 inch for C6A1 or 3/4 inch for C6A2. The pump is the same in both.
