Using it
CRC's technical data sheet (version 05/2026) gives these directions: equipment must be de-energised before cleaning; spray and leave on the surface for 1 to 2 minutes; surfaces may need to be wiped or agitated; wipe or rinse off with water, into an oil water separator if available; repeat the application if necessary.
If there is any concern about the sensitivity of a surface, test on an inconspicuous area first.
Storage and handling
Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50 °C. Do not pierce or burn the can. The safety data sheet advises keeping the product away from oxidising agents, acids, heat and ignition sources.
Limits and safety
Danger. Causes serious eye damage, and the pressurised container may burst if heated. Dangerous good: UN 1950, Aerosols, Class 2.2. CRC's technical data sheet advises protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection, face protection and hearing protection. The safety data sheet advises splash-proof goggles and PVC or rubber gloves, and gives no ecological data. CRC's technical data sheet also says deliberately sniffing or inhaling the concentrated contents can be harmful or fatal. Read the safety data sheet before use.
