CRC Brakleen Water Based is a water-based cleaner and degreaser in a 500g aerosol. It is a cleaner and degreaser for brake and clutch parts and general mechanical equipment, and can be tried as a pre-wash for CRC SmartWasher.
It is a non-flammable product with a compressed air propellant. It is classed as hazardous: signal word Danger, causes serious eye damage, and a pressurised container. The hazards are set out below.

Using it
Directions: equipment must be de-energised before cleaning; spray and leave on the surface for 1 to 2 minutes; surfaces may need to be wiped or agitated; wipe or rinse off with water, into an oil water separator if available; repeat the application if necessary.
If there is any concern about the sensitivity of a surface, test on an inconspicuous area first.

Storage and handling
Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50 °C. Do not pierce or burn the can. Keep the product away from oxidising agents, acids, heat and ignition sources.
Limits and safety
Danger. Causes serious eye damage, and the pressurised container may burst if heated. Dangerous good: UN 1950, Aerosols, Class 2.2. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection, face protection and hearing protection. Deliberately sniffing or inhaling the concentrated contents can be harmful or fatal.
