CRC 808 Multi-Purpose Silicone Spray 380g Aerosol 15% Bonus Can

CRC 808 Silicone is a multi-purpose silicone spray, supplied here in a bonus can: 380g in place of the standard 330g, so you get 15% more product. CRC lists it as cleaning, shining, lubricating, waterproofing and reviving, and as clear and non-staining. It reduces friction, noise and wear.

CRC says it is harmless to most materials: metals, plastics, rubber, adhesives, wood, fabrics, glass, inks and paints, and it can also be used as a mould release, parting agent and machine bed lubricant. Using it

Shake the can well.

Hold it 30 cm from a clean, dry surface and spray evenly.

Use the extension tube for hard-to-reach areas.

Storage and handling

Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50 °C. Do not pierce or burn the can, even after use.

Limits and safety

SDS classification: signal word Danger. Extremely flammable aerosol (H222). Pressurised container: may burst if heated (H229). Transport class UN 1950, Aerosols, Class 2.1. CRC's data sheet warns that deliberately sniffing or inhaling the concentrated contents can be harmful or fatal. Keep away from heat and ignition sources. Incompatible with oxidising agents (for example hypochlorites), acids (for example nitric acid) and alkalis (for example sodium hydroxide). Read the safety data sheet before use.
