Dixon 75-G-TES 3/4" (20 mm) Cam & Groove Gasket PTFE Encapsulated Silicone
Available
This Dixon cam and groove (camlock) gasket has a silicone core encapsulated in PTFE (FEP) and is colour coded translucent / red with no stripe (manufacturer-stated). It is listed in 8 coupling sizes, from 20 mm (3/4 in) to 100 mm (4 in).
Dixon gives a maximum operating temperature of 107 degrees C (225 degrees F) for the -TES gasket, and states that its materials are FDA approved. Dixon also notes that maximum operating temperatures for specific chemicals may be lower (manufacturer-stated).
Where this product is used
- Replacement gasket for Dixon cam and groove couplings and adaptors from 20 mm to 100 mm where a PTFE face is wanted.
- Camlock joints where the PTFE face suits the media; confirm the temperature and media with Dixon for aggressive chemicals (manufacturer-stated).

Pressure and temperature figures are Dixon's encapsulated gasket specifications. Dixon's elastomer dimension chart does not cover PTFE encapsulated gaskets, so no diameters are shown.
Selecting the right option
Start with the coupling size. The sizes in the table are camlock coupling sizes in mm, and each gasket part number is built from the size code (for example 100-G for 25 mm). Then check the material against the media you will handle, because the gasket is the part in contact with the product. Dixon notes that other manufacturers use different colour-code systems, so its colour chart should not be used to identify gaskets of unknown origin (manufacturer-stated). Dixon notes that PTFE gasket designs need the most torque to close the cam handles, rising from envelope to encapsulated to accordion styles (manufacturer-stated).
