Dixon HA0640 1" Clamp Type / Tri-Clover External Crimp Stem

This Dixon Holedall stem has a male clamp-type (Tri-Clover) end and an external crimp hose end, in 316 stainless steel. Dixon lists it in six sizes from 1" (HA0640) to 4" (HA0645), and it is made for inch-bore hose.

The stem is crimped onto the hose with a Holedall external crimp ferrule and joins a mating clamp-type fitting with a sanitary clamp and gasket. Dixon states that its stems are made to suit inch-bore hose and not metric hose, so measure the hose inside diameter before you order (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

Choose the stem by the inside diameter of the hose, in inches, then choose a ferrule to suit the hose outside diameter. Dixon lists the matching 304 stainless steel Holedall external crimp ferrules as HA0249 (1"), HA0250 (1-1/2"), HA0251 (2"), HA0252 (2-1/2"), HA0253 (3") and HA0301 (4"), each with a dash number that is chosen by the hose outside diameter (manufacturer-stated). A clamp-type joint also needs a sanitary clamp and a gasket in a material that suits your product; see the related products for other Dixon hygienic stems.
