Dixon rates all five sizes at 348 PSI working pressure, as tested to AWWA C606 requirements with a 2:1 safety factor (manufacturer-stated). An internal tongue and groove feature stops the seal pinching as the coupling closes. Dixon states that couplings of this type are not recommended for use with air (manufacturer-stated).
