This Dixon shouldered blank end closes the end of a shouldered end pipeline. It is galvanised mild steel and the store lists five sizes from 50 to 200 NB (2" to 8"). A bolted shouldered coupling holds it on the pipe (manufacturer-stated).
Dixon gives the outside diameter and width of each blank end, from 66.5 x 16.0 mm on the 50 NB to 232.0 x 20.5 mm on the 200 NB. Dixon's pressure column does not follow the pattern used by its other shouldered fittings for the 100 and 150 NB sizes, so pressure is shown only where it does (manufacturer-stated).

OD and W are the outside diameter and width of the blank end as printed in Dixon's catalogue. Dixon prints 580 PSI for the 100 NB blank end and 750 PSI for the 150 NB, which is the reverse of its other shouldered fittings (750 PSI at 100 NB and 580 PSI at 150 NB), so those two figures are not shown. Dixon also lists a blank end with a female BSP outlet, which is a separate product.
Selecting the right option
Check the pipe OD and the coupling that will hold the blank end, then confirm the working pressure with us for the 100 and 150 NB sizes. If you need a threaded outlet at the end of the line for a gauge, drain or vent, use the blank end with a female BSP outlet listed under Related products.
