This Dixon shouldered blank end closes a shouldered end pipeline and has a female BSP outlet in the centre, so a gauge, drain, vent or small branch can be fitted at the end of the line. It is galvanised mild steel and the store lists eight sizes from 50 x 25 to 150 x 75 mm (manufacturer-stated).
Dixon rates the 50, 80 and 100 NB versions at 750 PSI and the 150 NB versions at 580 PSI. It gives the outside diameter and width of each blank end, and the BSP outlet size in millimetres (25, 50 or 80), so the dimensions can be checked against the coupling housing (manufacturer-stated).

OD and W are the outside diameter and width of the blank end as printed in Dixon's catalogue. For 08/048/04/018 Dixon prints the BSP outlet as 80 mm; the store option for that part reads 150 x 75, so the outlet size is not asserted here.
Selecting the right option
Work out the shouldered pipe size first, then the outlet thread size you need. The BSP outlet is female, so it takes a male BSP plug, nipple or fitting. A bolted shouldered coupling holds the blank end to the pipe, and Dixon's plain blank end (no outlet) is listed under Related products if you do not need a threaded connection.
