Gates Micro-V belts are multi-ribbed (serpentine-profile) industrial belts — a single belt with several parallel small ribs running in a matching grooved pulley, replacing multiple narrow V-belts on one drive. The L section suits industrial multi-ribbed drives across machine tools, conveyors, appliances, outdoor power equipment and medical/exercise equipment. Selecting the right option
Select by belt section first, then by pitch length. Classical sections run A, B, C, D, E (or Z in metric) — cross-reference to the metric ISO equivalent (13A, 17A, 22A) where needed. Narrow sections (3V/SPA, 5V/SPB, 8V/SPC) carry more power in the same envelope. The XP series (XPZ/XPA/XPB/XPC) are notched versions for improved flex efficiency.
