KCP taper grid coupling hub. Steel hub with grid slots that the spring grid sits in. Tapered grid couplings transmit torque through a spring-steel grid that sits between two slotted hubs, providing torsional flex, shock absorption, and high torque density. Used widely on motor-to-gearbox drives in heavy industry.
