Mackay M200145 Isomount with General Purpose Height Adjuster, Small, Duro 45

Dimension letters A (height), B (length), C (width), D (centre thread), F (hole centres) and slots G x H and I x J are read from the Mackay drawing, in millimetres, and E and K are the height adjuster dimensions. Mackay says the static load figures are offered as a reference to the maximum load acceptable for each rubber mix, and that with thrust forces in marine engine applications the maximum load capacity is substantially reduced (manufacturer-stated). Selecting the right option

Choose the size from the load each isolator carries, then the Duro. Mackay offers the load figures as a reference to the maximum load acceptable for each rubber mix (manufacturer-stated), so keep the load on each mount at or below the figure for its part number, and use the with-thrust figure where the mount takes thrust. Tighten the centre bolt to Mackay's recommended torque (45-50 Nm for M12, 100-110 Nm for M16, 150-170 Nm for M20) and check there is no excessive distortion, misalignment or rotation of the top cap relative to the base afterwards (manufacturer-stated). When fitting the adjuster, Mackay says to place the washer hard against the top cap, fully locate the adjusting spindle into the isolator and fit the isolator with the adjuster in its mean position, then recheck alignment after tightening (manufacturer-stated). If the adjuster does not give enough height, use shims or packing pieces under the mounting base (manufacturer-stated). Confirm with Mackay for engine, marine or other critical applications.
