Mackay M135219 MD Flange Isolator Interlocked, 50 kg load, 3.0 mm deflection

The Mackay MD flange isolator is a high-damping mount that works as an anti vibration mount and as an engine stabiliser. Mackay says its special rubber mix gives a high degree of anti vibration isolation and great stability to suspended equipment, and lists the MD as a replacement for RAB isolators (manufacturer-stated).

All share one base: 93 mm long with two 9.5 mm holes 76 mm apart, a height of 34 mm, an M12 thread and a weight of 0.23 kg each. Selecting the right option

Choose by load. Each part number has one printed load: M135219 is 50 kg, M135213 is 70 kg, M135212 is 105 kg and M135210 is 130 kg, so the part numbers are not in load order. Work out the load at each mounting point and choose the part number whose printed load matches it. Then check the base against your supporting steelwork: two 9.5 mm holes, 76 mm apart, 93 mm overall length, and an M12 thread for the fixing into the top. Mackay says the MD is used where conventional rubber-metal mounts do not give the suspended equipment enough stability. Confirm with Mackay for critical loads, as all properties are nominal.
