Mackay M53080580 Minifix Isolator, Black Nitrile, Duro 80

MINIFIX is a machine support made of a rubber foot with a grooved anti-slip base and a threaded stud, which lets equipment be adjusted accurately (manufacturer-stated). Mackay supplies it complete with locking nuts and washers, in two rubber hardnesses (manufacturer-stated).

Two variants are listed: M53080550 is grey SBR, Duro 50, with a load rating of 30 to 40 kg; M53080580 is black nitrile, Duro 80, with a load rating of 80 to 100 kg. Both have a 46 mm diameter base, an M10 stud and weigh 0.1 kg. Mackay rates SBR as having poor resistance to fuel, oil and grease and nitrile as good (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

Choose by load rating first: M53080550 (Duro 50) has a load rating of 30 to 40 kg and M53080580 (Duro 80) 80 to 100 kg. Then choose by environment: Mackay rates the grey SBR as poor and the black nitrile as good for resistance to fuel, oil and grease.
