Mackay M137101 Recessed Flange Isolator Type 70, Duro 45, 1000 kg load

The Mackay Type 70 is the largest of the three recessed flange isolators on the same Mackay catalogue page, with a 123 mm square plate and loads up to 2500 kg. Like the others it is made for high load capacity with relatively large static deflections in the axial direction (manufacturer-stated).

Three part numbers are listed: M137101 (Duro 45, 1000 kg), M137102 (Duro 60, 2100 kg) and M137103 (Duro 70, 2500 kg). Each shows 6 mm deflection and weighs 3.45 kg. The plate is 123 x 123 mm with four slotted fixing holes, and the diagram shows a body ø110 mm in plan view and 100 mm high (manufacturer-stated). Mackay lists it as supplied with overload and rebound washers (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

Choose by load first: each part number has its own load figure and Duro (1000, 2100 or 2500 kg), so work out the share of the machine weight each mount carries and pick the figure that matches.
