Thread A and thread B are the threads at the two ends; C is the length of thread A, D is the length of thread B and E is the overall length, as read from the catalogue diagram. An asterisk marks a continuous thread. Part number M6W14 appears in the current catalogue as M6W314 and M10W38 appears only in the older Mackay Industrial Rubber Technology catalogue; their figures are taken from those rows. Selecting the right option
Start with the cushion: check its thread size (the C metric column in the Mackay cushion tables) and choose a stud with a matching thread, then choose the thread on the other end to suit your fixing, metric or WHIT. The kit pages pair M6 cushions with M6M6 studs and M8 cushions with M8M8 studs. For any other combination, confirm the thread sizes with Mackay. Apply the load to the full face of the cushion and not just the thread.
