Maun MA4870/125 125 mm Smooth Jaws Flat Nose Parallel Plier

The Maun smooth jaws flat nose parallel plier is the original Maun parallel plier adapted for delicate work. The smooth parallel jaws grip firmly without marking soft or delicate pieces, which suits jewellery making and handling soft wire. It is available in 125, 140 and 160 mm lengths, all with plain steel handles and no return spring (manufacturer-stated).

The flat jaws make angles, the parallel jaws give an even grip along their whole length and the smooth jaws avoid damaging the work. Wire can be threaded down the throat of the plier, and the plier can straighten wire and remove kinks. The jaws are case hardened to HRC 57 and the handles are zinc-plated with grip detailing.
