Precision Metric Rectangle Key Steel 5 x 8 mm | KS5X8MM

This Precision Brand zinc plated metric key steel comes in 6 sizes and is supplied in 300 mm lengths, with the size marked on each piece. The sizes are 5 x 8, 6 x 10, 6 x 12, 6 x 14, 22 x 25 and 25 x 28 mm.

The key steel is cold drawn C1020 to C1045 steel, zinc plated for rust prevention. Most dimension tolerances are oversized, so the key fits tightly in the keyway for positive, zero backlash power transmission.

Match the key to the keyway on your shaft and hub, using the size in the options table. Rectangle key steel suits a keyway where the width and height differ. The sizes are written as in the manufacturer catalogue, so check each one against your keyway before you order. Imperial and metric keyways are not interchangeable, so check the unit on your shaft.
