Pferd conical Radius End Burr KEL, 10 x 20mm

This Pferd conical burr with radius end (KEL) is a tungsten carbide burr in ALLROUND cut on a 6mm shank. It comes in 2 head sizes: 10 x 20 and 12 x 25mm.

The ALLROUND cut gives a high stock removal rate on key materials such as steel, cast steel, stainless steel (INOX), non-ferrous metals and cast iron. The KEL is a conical burr with round radius end to DIN 8032 for versatile, economical and time-saving use on steel and cast steel, stainless steel (INOX), non-ferrous metals and cast iron. Key features: comfortable working thanks to reduced vibration and less noise, reduced wear on the tool drive from impact-free work without chatter marks, thanks to the high concentricity.

Choosing the right option

Choose the head size and shank to suit the job and your tool. The cutting speed is 450 to 750 m/min for steels up to 1,200 N/mm2, and the rotational speed follows from the burr diameter. Do not exceed the maximum permitted rotational speed, observe the recommended rotational speed (especially with long shanks), wear eye and hearing protection and a dust mask, and do not use a damaged burr or use the burr for cutting.
