Pferd POLIFAN conical flap disc CO-FREEZE SGP STRONG INOX

The Pferd POLIFAN CO-FREEZE SGP STRONG INOX is a conical flap disc with ceramic oxide grain flaps, from its Special Line SGP range. The range has 2 options in 125mm diameter, grits 36 and 50.

The CO-FREEZE SGP STRONG INOX is a flap disc combining the STRONG design and its long, compact flaps with an innovative abrasive, suitable for surface grinding and work on weld seams. The conical type has a narrower grinding area for work on weld seams, chamfering and deburring, with optimum use of the flap configuration at a contact angle of 10 to 25 degrees. Self-sharpening ceramic oxide grain with FREEZE special coating for very cool grinding.

Choosing the right option

A higher grit number is a finer abrasive. With POLIFAN flap discs a grit one grade coarser can be selected to reach the same surface as with fibre discs. Each shape suits a different job: flat (PFF) for surface grinding, conical (PFC) for weld seams, chamfering and deburring, and radial (PFR, CURVE) for fillet welds. Check the maximum speed given for the item and keep the angle grinder at or below it.
