Precision Brand steel shim assortment kit

This Precision Brand steel shim assortment kit holds 12 pieces, each 6 x 12" (152 x 305mm), in the thicknesses of 0.001, 0.0015, 0.002, 0.003, 0.004, 0.005, 0.006, 0.007, 0.008, 0.010, 0.012 and 0.015". It is a convenient way to have the common gauges on hand for gap filling and adjustment.

The shim stock is full hard, cold rolled low carbon 1008-1010 steel, and it is marked with the material type and thickness. Made in USA.

Check the thicknesses in the kit against the gap you need to fill. If you need a thickness that is not in the kit, see the shim stock rolls. Plain steel shim is not corrosion resistant, so choose the stainless steel kit for damp or corrosive conditions.
