Q-Bond QB4 10 ml Superglue Cyanoacrylate Adhesive

The Q-Bond QB4 is a single 10 ml bottle of Q-Bond liquid adhesive. It is supplied on its own, with no reinforcing powder (manufacturer-stated), for bonding clean, close-fitting parts of metal, plastic, rubber and ceramic.
The adhesive is ethyl cyanoacrylate and bonds most non-porous materials in seconds, with an average cure of 10 seconds that varies by surface: ABS plastic can cure in seconds, while metal can take up to 30 minutes (manufacturer-stated). Q-Bond states a gap fill of 0.04 mm, a tensile-shear strength of 120 to 200 kgf/cm2 and a temperature range of -55 to 82 C for the adhesive alone. It is not intended for filling gaps or rebuilding broken parts: that needs the powders, which Q-Bond supplies only in the Q-Bond QB2 small repair kit and Q-Bond QB3 large repair kit.

How to use it
Clean and dry the surface and remove any paint. Pierce the seal with the red pin, apply the adhesive to one side, join the parts, press firmly and hold for 10 seconds (manufacturer-stated). Wipe the nozzle clean after use, replace the red pin and store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place. The adhesive bonds skin and eyes in seconds (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option
Choose the QB4 when you only need to glue parts that fit together closely. If you need to fill a gap or rebuild a broken part you need powder, so choose the Q-Bond QB2 small repair kit for an occasional repair or the Q-Bond QB3 large repair kit for more. Q-Bond does not bond polypropylene, polyethylene or stainless steel (manufacturer-stated).
