A fast acting oil absorbent that soaks up to 5 times its own weight and reaches 90 percent capacity in under 10 minutes, this organic coir spill absorbent handles oils, fuels and a wide range of hazardous liquids including acids and caustics. Made from washed, heat treated coconut coir, it is non-toxic and prefers hydrocarbons over water, so it can lift oil from an oil and water mix on roads and hard surfaces.
