Stahlwille SW13a 1" Combination Spanner, 300 mm Long

The Stahlwille 13a is the inch-size version of the 13: a combination spanner range in 33 sizes from 3/16" to 2" across flats, from 95 mm to 530 mm long. Each spanner has the same size at both ends: an open end with the jaw angled at 15 degrees and a 12-point ring offset by 15 degrees (manufacturer-stated).
The ring has the Stahlwille Anti-Slip-Drive (AS-Drive) profile, which Stahlwille says puts the force on the flanks of the bolt or nut rather than the corners. The spanners are Chrome Alloy Steel, chrome-plated. Stahlwille states the spanners are drop-forged, hardened and cooled in an oil bath, with a double-T profile for bending strength, a round finish for grip, thin-walled rings for hard-to-reach fastening points and a reinforced transition from jaw to shaft, where the highest forces act (Offset Shaft Design). Widths across flats are printed in inches only. The standards printed for the metric 13 are not claimed for the inch sizes, so no DIN or ISO reference is made on this page.

Pick the size by the inch width across flats of the fastener; both ends are the same size, and the range includes the less common 13/64", 15/64", 19/32" and 25/32".
