Stahlwille SW44P PH1 Phillips Screwdriver Socket, 1/4" Drive, 28 mm Long

The Stahlwille 44P is a range of Phillips screwdriver sockets for 1/4" drive: 4 tip sizes from PH1 to PH4, each 28 mm long, for Phillips screws. Each socket has a Phillips tip at one end and a 1/4" internal square drive at the other, so it turns on a 1/4" drive ratchet, handle or extension. The tips are to DIN 5260 and the sockets are Chrome Alloy Steel, chrome plated (manufacturer-stated).
A bit socket in a ratchet gives a faster and more compact drive than a screwdriver handle. The PH number is the Phillips size, so match it to the recess in the screw head. Stahlwille's datasheets mark these sockets for hand use and print no torque rating and no striking instruction, so keep to hand-driven work. Weights are shown only for the sizes where Stahlwille's datasheet, website and 2017 brochure agree, and are a dash elsewhere.

Selecting the right option
Pick the tip by the Phillips size of the screw. Turn it with a 415 1/4" drive reversible ratchet; the 405 1/4" drive extension bars add reach and the 407 1/4" drive universal joint lets you work at an angle.
